Andrea Lewin Wendel, is the founder and designer of Andi-Le.
For over 25 years Andrea has been in the business of creating living environments. She majored in illustration and started painting fabric, furniture and walls for interior designers. Residential as well as commercial work took her all over the U.S. Her design roots stem from her family’s business in fine home building, architecture and interior design.
Moving into sculpture and fine art, Andrea created large totemic sculptures of wood, and steel, incorporating stone, glass, and a multitude of other materials. She was represented in galleries in Aspen, CO and Santa Fe, NM. Her work is included in prominent art collections across the country. Functional art has evolved to be her main focus, creating pieces for interior design and home entertaining.
Andi-Le launched in 2011. The furniture portfolio concentrates on tables, consoles and benches. Strong components, blending patterns and textures and materials, merge with old world traditions to create a contemporary look. All pieces are customized in collaboration with each client’s needs, choosing from various textures, stains and sizes.
