Every living thing needs water. Water sustains our bodies, environment and food sources. But beyond the basics, water is also crucial for our well-being. It feeds our minds as well as our bodies, and integrating the healing power of water into our daily lives provides countless benefits. The team at Diamond Spas is committed to the thoughtful and purposeful incorporation of aquatic vessels into their clients’ homes. From aesthetic enhancement to lifestyle and health improvements, a Diamond Spa luxury pool, spa, cold plunge or water feature will upgrade your space and improve your mind, body, and spirit.

TIMELESS DESIGN, ULTIMATE DURABILITY
The integration of water into human dwellings is not new. From the bath houses of antiquity to Walden Pond and the birth of Transcendentalism, water has played a significant role in the evolution of the human species. And in modern times, the incorporation of water into architectural design spawned an entirely new discipline as demonstrated in Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, the quintessential organic architecture dwelling.
In the landscape of the Mountain West, water is not hard to find. Abundant lakes, rivers, and streams provide recreation, irrigation, and inspiration to all who live and visit here. Diamond Spas, a Denver-based pool and spa fabricator, has been providing solutions in the West’s luxury market for nearly three decades. Their products are tailored to the unique and often harsh climate that residents of the region are accustomed to. And over the years, their design has evolved with increasingly sophisticated materials and components to meet their clients’ needs. “Over the years, not much has stayed the same except for people’s enjoyment of water and our ability to bring their ideas to life,” says Shannon Knaub, Diamond Spa’s senior design team member. “The overall quality of the final product and the public’s awareness of the benefits of water have increased significantly,” he adds.

“We personalize all of our clients’ pool and spa experiences. There are options for every shape, size, and seating arrangement, and the potential for integrated water features and vanishing edges is endless.”
–Shannon Knaub, Senior Designer, Diamond Spas
Diamond Spas fabricates products using only stainless steel, copper, and acrylic materials that have a proven durability through the extreme heat, cold, and varied elements of a four-season climate. The majority of the product line is custom, built to client specifications. However, Diamond Spas does offer a standard portable spa line with energy efficiency certifications. These spas are already engineered, offering a faster ship date than a custom pool or spa. Their portfolio demonstrates the vast range of possibilities, as they sell worldwide with both commercial and residential applications.

CUSTOMIZED FOR STYLE AND SOPHISTICATION
Of their scope of projects, about 90% are residential. Right from the beginning, the design team engages with architects, landscape architects, general contractors, designers, and owners to achieve the ultimate solution for each project. “We personalize all of our clients’ pool and spa experiences. There are options for every shape, size, and seating arrangement, and the potential for integrated water features and vanishing edges is endless,” says Shannon. Each plan will vary depending on how the client will use it, if it’s in a private or entertaining space, and where jets and filtration components will be placed according to individual needs.

“Stainless steel and copper will not crack, fade, or blister, and our precision welding makes them leak-tight and long-lasting.”

The design team also takes into account every detail about the property’s location and style in order to complement the natural and architectural elements. The sleek styling of stainless steel will complement contemporary architecture, and the Old World charm of copper will fit perfectly in a traditional design. The visual appeal of these materials is just one benefit, as design and durability go hand in hand for Diamond Spas. “Stainless steel and copper will not crack, fade, or blister, and our precision welding makes them leak-tight and long-lasting,” Shannon adds.
FAMILY-OWNED AND CLIENT-CENTERED
After the plans are approved, fabrication begins on each custom product. “Diamond Spas works with project teams from initial design phases through the successful installation of our products,” says Shannon. “And whether the project is a small, cold-plunge pool for one person or a multi-million-dollar rooftop pool, our team sets the industry standard for professionalism. We’re completely focused on the relaxing benefits and overall experience of the owners.”

After almost 30 years in business, Diamond Spas has maintained a constant standard of excellence for luxury water vessels. While that has stayed the same, so much else has changed. Clients are more knowledgeable about the benefits of water for active use as well as the comfort from passive viewing and listening. Cold plunges have evolved rapidly, and controls for temperature, jets, and lighting continue to level up. Diamond Spas is meeting the increasing demand and sophistication and has stayed at the forefront of tech integrations. “We will continue to develop high-quality vessel components, and we are committed to state-of-the-art fabrication processes and high-quality equipment,” says Shannon.
